The Town of Madison and Madison Public Schools seeks an outstanding professional to become its full-time hands-on Director of Finance. 

DUTIES:
This position, shared between the Town and the Board of Education, reports directly to the First Selectman and Superintendent.  The Director of Finance plans, develops, coordinates, and directs the Town and school's fiscal controls, reporting and activities which entail the application of budgeting, accounting principles, practices financial planning and analysis, and debt service. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate will have several years of financial and management experience working within a municipality and or public education.  Candidate must possess the competency to successfully manage the flow of financial information and effectively communicate with several boards including: Board of Education, Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance, and department heads.  Must attend frequent evening meetings.
