The Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority operates a "quasi-municipal corporation", managing a Class IV 10 million+ gallon/day wastewater treatment plant. 

DUTIES:
Working under the policy direction of the Water Pollution Control Authority Board and the administrative direction of Stamford's Director of Operations, the Executive Director is responsible for the planning, maintenance, operation and management of the Water Pollution Control Authority. The Executive Director is responsible for all interface with municipal, State and Federal regulatory authorities as well as the timely delivery of all required documentation and testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Interested Candidates must possess a Connecticut Class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's Certificate.
