CCM is the leading advocate of municipal interests in Connecticut. CCM represents and protects local governments at the General Assembly, before the State executive branch and regulatory agencies, and in the courts. Federal representation is provided by CCM in conjunction with the National League of Cities. 

Municipal Members also have access to CCM's Research and Information team, ready to assist in obtaining information or materials on any topic of interest as well as access to CCM's extensive municipal library. Municipal Leadership Training workshops on a variety of subjects including core training on Ethics, Municipal Meetings, FOIA and the Newly Elected series is now provided free to all CCM member officials and employees.  CCM also offers additional programs and services to provide our municipal members cost savings on energy purchasing, energy efficiency, drug and alcohol testing services, and group purchasing services.

CCM is the only full-servie and statewide association of towns and cities in Connecticut.  CCM is an inclusionary organization that represents, and champions, the interests of urban, suburban, and rural communities.
