The Town of East Hampton is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Director of Community & Environmental Planning. The Director will oversee the Town's progressive land philosophy, which emphasizes quality growth, sustainability, and historic preservation, balanced with focus on economic development and redevelopment. This position involves a wide range of community development and environmental planning tasks and assignments and contributes to the effective execution and completion of projects including NEPA/MEPA impact analysis and documentation preparation; regulatory permitting; corridor studies, feasibility studies; field studies; public involvement and master community planning and development. Thorough knowledge, skill and ability in municipal planning, land use, environmental and community development initiatives are required. Competitive salary plus benefit package.
