PROGRAM OVERVIEW back to top

This program will address recent changes to the Family Medical Leave Act in Connecticut and what this means for employee rights. Additionally, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Worker's Compensation Act will be discussed.  Navigating the triangle between these the FMLA, ADA, and Worker's Compensation laws can be treacherous, and a municipality's obligations can at times be difficult to discern.  Attendees will learn how regulations - new and old 0-impact a municipality's policies and procedures, and what municipalities must do to adapt, comply and avoid legal exposure.
