The Collective Bargaining Specialist serves as a key strategist and negotiator on behalf of the Town in the development of the Town's collective bargaining agreements. The Collective Bargaining Specialist also serves as a resource in the negotiations of the collective bargaining agreements under the jurisdiction of the Board of Education. Reports to the Director of Human Resources with accountability to the First Selectman.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible labor relations experience with specific practice in collective bargaining. Experience in a municipal setting preferred. Labor relations experience must include work as a labor negotiator in a multi-union environment, including direct responsibility for contract negotiations.
