Responsible position in administration of City's Planning and Zoning Department. Incorporates enforcement and implementation of City's zoning and subdivision regulations. Also provides assistance to P&Z Administrator in planning and implementation of programs involved in economic development, transportation, housing, open space and recreation, community appearance, safety, social services, etc. Must have good knowledge, skills and ability in basic municipal civil engineering work. Ability to develop reports, perform statistical analysis, read blueprints, site plans, layouts, research and gather related data and represent the department.

Associates Degree or higher with courses in related field (planning, geography, engineering, statistics, administration, etc.) or no less than five years employment in responsible position involving planning, zoning. Working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems databases, preferred.
